Answers

1. Why did my package and mail address change?

DHL EasyShop has made a strategic alliance with Aeropost, who has facilities specialized in handling packages and online purchases, thus allowing us to serve you better. The Aeropost warehouse in Miami will allow us to optimize our service for your benefit.

2. Do I have a different account number?

No. We are happy to announce that your account number will remain the same, your 3 digit letter country code and your 5 digit account number. Be sure to always include your 3 digit Country Code (AUA) and 5 digit Account Number when giving your address to shippers.

3. How much will I pay for the service?

The rates and total costs will be the same or better, with the added benefit that you will not be charged based on volumetric weight, only the REAL weight of your package. To calculate shipping costs you can use the calculator on our website.

4. How can I make my payments?

All packages that we receive at our warehouse in Miami must be paid for before shipment. When your package arrives to our warehouse, you will receive an alert asking you to proceed to pay for your package. You can process your payment using PayPal or our secure online MyAero Payment system. We remind you that an invoice is required for customs processing in Aruba.

If your package does not have an invoice upon its arrival in Miami, the system will prompt you to upload one before allowing manual payment. Once payment has been processed, your package will be sent on the next available flight. When we receive payment confirmation, the status of your package will change to "Preparing for Shipment".

5.What is AutoPay?

This is our Automatic Payment system which is activated by registering your Credit Card in your MyAero account or by accepting the Billing Agreement by PayPal to affiliate your PayPal account for automatic payments. By enabling AutoPay you ensure that your package is expedited through our Miami Hub.

6. What Miami phone number should I enter when I make a purchase online?

The number you should register when making a purchase is (305) 592-7754.

7. How much time do I have to update my address with my senders?

You must update your new address with existing merchants as soon as possible. Please use your new address for your next online purchase. If your package is already in transit to the old address, please contact the local DHL-Aruba customer service team for assistance in tracking this package.

8. How can I track my packages online and get my new access code?

You can track your packages once they reach the new address through our My Aero system. Soon you will receive an access code by e-mail. If you do not receive it in the next 48 hours, contact Aeropost Customer Service.

9. Has the address of the offices in my country changed as well?

No, your packages will still be available for pickup at the current DHL counter location.  If you’re not sure where this is, please see our Aeropost counter location for package pickups.

10. What is a Prealert?

Prealert is an innovative tool that allows us to provide priority handling and additional protection for packages. It also allows you to upload your package invoice before the package arrives in Miami so that your package receives expedited services through Miami and in Aruba.

How does it work?
Every time you make a purchase online and you receive a tracking number (from UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, etc.) from your shipper you can pre-register your package information in your MyAero account. Make sure to PreAlert all your packages, that way we can process your package in Miami and local customs much faster and hassle-free. Also, once it's PreAlerted, we can make sure to deliver the package to the right account even if the shipper accidentally forgets to include your account number. It's fast, simple and free!

11. What should I do if my credit card has the old Miami address registered as my alternate address?

Call your bank and request a change in your "billing address" or alternate address according to your new address for PACKAGES.

12. How can I update my new address in Amazon, Ebay or Paypayl?

Amazon: Go to "Your Account". in "Settings", Click on "Manage Address Book". After entering your e-mail address and password, shipping addresses that you have used in the past will appear; you can delete those, edit or add a new one. Also, if you wish, at the time of "Check out", you can simply enter the new address.

Ebay: Sign in with your username and password. In the menu of "My Ebay" click on "Summary", then "Account", then "Addresses". Here you can update your address.

Paypal: Normally, Paypal requires you to enter the local address in your country, so if this your case, you should not make any changes, just make sure to enter the new Miami address in "Shipping Address" when placing an order using Paypal.

14. How can I locate the new address in Miami?

Yes, you can access your account in MyAero and register authorized users to your account.  Please be advised that the account owner is responsible for all package payments.  Authorized users are unable to make payments in your account. 

15. Can I add authorized users to my account?

Yes, you can access your account in My Aero and register authorized users to your account. Please be advised that the account owner is responsible for all package payments. Authorized users are unable to make payments in your account. 16. Are there any Restricted Items that I should not ship through Aeropost.

16.Are there any Restricted Items that I should not ship through Aeropost?

Dangerous Goods like gasoline, paints, alcoholic beverages and Consumer Commodities such as perfumes, sprays and colognes are items that CANNOT be shipped through Aeropost to the islands, due to safety regulations.
Please do not ship these products to your Miami address, as they cannot be shipped to your country, Aeropost will not be liable for them, and they may cause you to incur in charges for their destruction or return to shipper process. Click here for more details about these products.
